What operations do
we perform?

Neuma Peru with the purpose of providing our customers with the advances of the sectorial repair service has designed tire repair workshops in the main mining operations (In Situ) with the purpose of giving the customer the immediate availability of the tire, carrying out preventive and corrective repairs.

The On Site workshop derives from the experience of our company located in the city of Arequipa, with 22 years of experience and more than 30 thousand OTR tires repaired. Now we also have a Repair Shop at the Lurin Plant.

Modern processes

As for the repair procedures, materials, tools and equipment necessary to carry them out, we currently have the most modern worldwide, repairing damages, either passive and/or preventive, as the case may be.

Repair process

1. Inspection
and Evaluation

Thoroughly observe the condition of the tire to identify damage to all parts of the tire.
2. Scaling
and Scraping

Remove the damaged rubber from the compromised area and eliminate the remains of separations and oxidations. Compare with tables to define if it is a preventive or corrective repair.
3. Cementing, Filling
and patching

Once the crater gum has been textured, it is cleaned, then liquid cement is applied on the prepared area both externally and internally. The patch is placed if required.
4. Vulcanizing

Vulcanize the repair made at the appropriate pressure and temperature conditions. The vulcanizing time will depend on the amount of rubber filled in the crater.
5. Finishing
Surface

Leveling, scraping and redrawing of the repaired surface after vulcanization.
6. Delivery

The tire is delivered to the customer with a photographic report of the entire repair process.
