    • 1. Inspection
      Initial

      The objective of the initial inspection is to verify if the casings are suitable for retreading according to the acceptance criteria of the Michelin process. A rigorous visual and tactile inspection is performed, covering all areas of the casing.

        • 2. Scraping

          The objective is to remove the remaining rubber from the tread, respecting the manufacturer's parameters, in order to obtain an adequate geometry and roughness of the scraped surface for the placement of a new tread, in addition to cleaning, brushing the carcass sidewalls without compromising the tire markings, in order to avoid tire contamination.

            • 3. Scarification

              Scraping consists of specialized treatment of all damages, removing damaged rubber and steel to prepare the casing to receive the necessary repair products.

                • 4. Cemented

                  Process in which 100% of the damage present in the tires to be retreaded is repaired.

                    • 5. Filling

                      This treatment consists of filling the damages that were treated with "RALEN" repair rubber, reconstructing the structure of each damaged point.

                        • 6. Tread repair

                          The objective is to repair an original RECAMIC tread to be applied. It is given a suitable length according to the carcass dimension, "RENIT" cement and "RIVEN" rubber binder are applied. .

                            • 7. Banding

                              The objective is to apply the prepared tread on the casing. The care taken in performing this operation strongly conditions the behavior and performance of the retreaded tire. .

                                • 8. Wrapping

                                  It consists in the placement of the internal envelope and the external envelope to guarantee the adhesion of the band and the raw products to the carcass during vulcanization, with the help of vacuum.

                                    • 9. Vulcanizing

                                      In this stage, the carcasses are placed inside the autoclave, which has an automated system. This process guarantees the definitive cohesion of the products used in the retanning process.

                                        • 10. Inspection
                                          Final

                                          Consists of evaluating the appearance of the retreaded tires, with the purpose of releasing only those products that are within the quality standards established in the job references.
